Amy Rayment completed her studies at the University of Cape Town in 2014 – Bsc Physiotherapy (Hons). She completed her Community Service year at Zithulele in the Eastern Cape and then went onto work at Frere Hospital in East London in 2016. She joined a private practice in 2017 and after 3 years of committed service & an unfulfilled partnership, obeyed the call to start her own Practice in Nahoon rooted on integrity and compassionate care.

Amy is passionate about Education and aiding her fellow colleagues to pursue entrepreneurship. She believes in the power of lifting others up and thrives off the joy received when seeing her patients find healing and purpose in their careers and sports life. Amy is particularly passionate about:

Preventative Healthcare – Early identification of Biomechanical & emotional stress on the body related to home, work & sports life – headaches, muscle tension & spinal care.

Sports Related Injuries – Assessment & management of athletes, mainly runners, triathletes, rugby players, dancers. Dry needling, soft tissue management, Shockwave therapy, taping & postural rehab.

Woman’s Health – Pelvic health of the pre & post-partum mom, pelvic floor dysfunction including incontinence, prolapse & age-related problems.

Cameron (Bsc Physiotherapy (UFS)) has spent 3.5 years working in the Government setting at Frere hospital and 3 years’ experience working in private practice. “My main goal of Physiotherapy is to provide a holistic approach to patient care and to work towards achieving my patients goals and expectations of rehabilitation and recovery from illnesses and injuries.”
